What comes with being a wake skimboarder?

You have to explain to everybody what it is, and how you ride on the wake with no rope

Where do you think the future progression of the sport will occur?

I think that the sport will continue to take over the wakeboard market because it is a sport that isn't hard on your body and people of all ages and skill levels can enjoy it. Most people that can afford a boat are older anyways, so I have a feeling the boat companies will get more and more into it as well.

If you don't spend the day riding, what do you do?

Actually, I have a full time job in medical sales. I also live hiking with my dog Kiwi, running stand up paddleboarding in the waves, yoga, cooking, and traveling.

If you had to pack up and leave in a hurry, what would you grab and where would head?

I would grab Kiwi and everything I could fit in a suitcase. I'd head to Tahiti, then Bali, then Australia.

Who or what inspires you most?

My parents... They are my best friends!

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Having a house on a tropical beach where there is surfing and kiteboarding, having a "part time" job with endless vacation time, and being with friends family and loved ones everyday!

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

3 time women's world wakesurfing champion, and getting the first cover of a magazine for a girl in the sport of kiteboarding- The Kiteboarder Magazine April 2005

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

Winter in Oahu, spring in La Ventana Baja, summer in Hood River, and fall in Santa Cruz.

What do you most value in your friends?

Intelligence and ambition

What else do you do to help your skimboarding?

I run every day, do yoga, and hike a few times a week

Favorite skate film?

Don't have one

Favorite skim film?

Don't have one

If you could have any other job in the world what would it be?

Being personal assistant to Richard Branson

Do you think you will ride for the rest of your life?

Of course! I'll do all the sports I do today!
